Brains

Hey lovelies, as of writing this today on August 24, 2020, yah girl decided to buckle down and get a lot of her school work done. Mainly English class. Ever since I was a baby I have always been learning. I was born into and raised at one of the best schools in my opinion, American Heritage. Literally my mom was pregnant with my brother when she started working there and then got pregnant with me. I started school so young at Heritage when I was only 2 years old. I was so young that they decided that I had to repeat pk3. Ever since me and my brother were little my mom always had the big vision and goal to see both of her children walk across that graduation stage from American Heritage and get their high school diplomas. That has also always been a goal for me as well, because I take such pride and joy in my education from American Heritage. But, unfortunately due to corona and other things she did not get the traditional graduation for my brother. To me it is not even a school, it is more like a small town. Everybody knows somebody and you can not get away with anything because sooner or later everybody or the people you do not want to know will find out. Heritage also has these cute little traditions and quirks about it that I love. For example for Thanksgiving we have our very own little taste fest. You go to the gym and get turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy and some corn and cake or pie, sit down and enjoy it with you peers and teachers. Another cute little thing that is very special is Mothers Day tea. You would make little projects and gifts for your mom and invite them to the classroom and eat and have some tea with them. Even tho my mother worked very hard at school and was always busy, she always found time to come to all of me and my brothers performances or classroom activities and show her love and support. As you all should know by now I am a cheerleader and whenever my mom and dad would come see me perform for half time or watch a couple of cheers, that made my whole night. Especially when I was diagnosed and the news reached the school. Me and my family were overwhelmed with all the love and support that we did not know what to do. It truly meant the world to us that they supported us through the hard times. Some of my favorite memories and people are from American Heritage and I will forever be thankful and grateful to my school family and friends.
